General Description and Essential Functions
The Accountant I will be responsible for the reconcilement of various bank general ledger and controlled bank accounts.
Assist with the reconciliation of Great Western Bank's general ledger accounts.
Communicate and assist managers on any issues regarding the balancing of the general ledger accounts.
Prepare and verify daily reports.
Compile data for monthly reporting.
Investigate and collect reconciling items.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, highly skilled in Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidential information.
Proven analytical and accuracy skills. Requires attention to detail.
Respond to and resolve customer service requests according to Great Western policies in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner at all times.
Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
