We are looking for candidates with the following:

Position Specifics and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

• Three years work experience in accounting, budgeting, payroll, and grants management

• Experience with general ledger functions, payroll, financial statements, audits, accounts payable & receivable.

• Strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills and a commitment to complete tasks and follow-through

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

• Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills

• Must be energetic, positive, well-organized, and capable of functioning effectively in an independent environment and on a team.

• Reliable/dependable hard worker with a "can do" attitude that is eager to learn.

• Three years experience with Microsoft Word & Excel

• Three years experience with Sage / Peachtree / Quickbooks or another Accounting software package.

• Experience with Administrative & Office tasks.

• Excellent Phone & Customer Service Skills required.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Valid Driver's License required

The successful candidate will be required to work regular hours Monday through Friday in our headquarters' office (Franklin, WV) from 9am to 5pm with an occasional need to work irregular hours and/or weekends.

Salary and Application Instructions

The salary range for this position is $45K-50K per year.
