The Accountant is responsible for recording and/or reviewing areas of the accounting cycle which include classification, coding, reconciliation, and analysis of sales, accounts receivable/payable, cash, inventory, prepayments, accruals, expenses, other income, and other areas related to the accounting of the companies.Job Functions:
- Daily verification and reconciliation of deposits from Departments, comparing the deposited amount vs. the Department's posting.
- Investigate discrepancies and follow up with the Cashier and/or Division responsible.
- Prepare bank reconciliations for cash accounts with various financial institutions.
- Analyze accounts receivable and make the corresponding adjustments.
- Ensure that purchase and sale documents required by the Company are completed and included in the system.
- Continuously follow up with sales managers, finance managers, and sales executives to submit these documents on time.
- Review sales records.
- Follow up on collections through banks or financing companies if necessary.
- Analyze inventory subsidiary and record adjustments.
- Conduct physical inventory.
- Prepare accounting for companies affiliated.
- Analyze audit accounts.
- Perform any other task or function necessary for the proper functioning of the Accounting Department and the Company.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
- Three to five years of experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of Computer Systems: Excel, others.
- Skills in account analysis.
- Good written and oral communication in Spanish and English.
