Your pivotal role involves precise preparation, examination, and analysis of financial statements and documents, applying advanced accounting principles, and swiftly resolving discrepancies.

• This position provides professional accounting analysis for our contract bed accounts. Duties include evaluating documentation provided and reconciling to ensure accuracy for making payments. You will reconcile invoices, research and resolve accounting discrepancies, and collaborate with agency members and providers to address issues.

• Your responsibilities encompass classifying, recording, and reporting financial operations with accuracy, and providing valuable insights for budgeting decisions. Actively participate in developing streamlined accounting procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Maintain accurate financial records by meticulously managing accounting ledgers, journals, and registers. Reconcile statements and transactions for reliable financial reporting. As a leader, provide guidance to technical and/or support staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

• Attention to detail is crucial in the reconciliation process, and you'll maintain spreadsheets tracking payments, providing this information to others within the agency. Work in accordance with GAAP and the State of Montana's accounting policies and procedures.
