Accountant Financial Analyst, Associate

Job Summary

Financial Services Administration at the University of Kentucky is seeking an Accountant Financial Analyst, Associate. This position will be responsible for ensuring integrity of the University's chart of accounts, including data entry for fund, cost center/funds center and G/L account establishment. The selected candidate will:

• create and maintain all master data for non-grant and non-capital cost objects
• run data quality reports
• generate accounting transactions for monthly and year-end postings
• prepare financial reports for quarterly and annual Cancer Research Matching Fund and Robinson Forest reports
• other financial statement reports and analysis as assigned

This position will also serve as the primary contact for campus questions or problems that are non-routine in nature and require a greater degree of understanding and proficiency.

MS Word, Excel, SAP, Tableau/BEX, accounting, management, organization, analytical skills

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field
