Accountant

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Accountant to join our growing New York Team!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reconciling Bank statements.

• Update daily Cash reports for multiple entities.

• Responsible for sending credit card transactions to users, collecting receipts, and coding the expenses.

• Responsible for posting payroll entries, payroll accrual and deferral entries for multiple entities.

• Responsible for month end & year end close.

• Posting AP accrual and other recurring entries monthly.

• Analyze expenses and identify capital expenditures.

• Create intercompany invoices and reconcile intercompany accounts.

• Prepare analysis reports as requested.

• Post Fixed Asset expenses, Depreciation and maintain Fixed Asset schedule.

• Responsible for General Ledger Posting.

• Create Journal entries and allocation entries between multiple entities.

• Indirectly assist in other Accounts Payable functions as needed.

• Research, resolve and respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Controllership functions

• Experience in hospitality, logistic and/or manufacturing environments preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment where change is constant.

• Exceptional analytical skills and clear communication style.

• Proactive, solution-oriented problem solver.

• Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization, including individuals outside of the finance function, across multiple time zones.

• Bachelor's in finance/accounting preferred.

• Expected $62,500 - $70,000 annually.
