Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, and being able to adapt to a rapidly changing production environment brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of production goals and achieving operational excellence. This position must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance to the level of Secret.

The most important thing we build is TRUST Overview HOW TO SUCCEED The Accountant supports accounting functions and reports to the Accounting Manager and Controller. With some supervision, an Accountant is responsible for accurately compiling data for financial reporting; analyzing and reconciling financial transactions and accounts; preparing journal entries; maintaining the general ledger; and supporting the month-end-close process including balance sheet reconciliations. Incumbents are responsible for evaluating large datasets, understanding and applying GAAP, IFRS and CAES policy to financial transactions.

Documents best practices, identifies areas for improvement in current processes and shares knowledge with coworkers and stakeholders. Consistently meets deadlines and performs under pressure. Team player who supports the shared success of the team.

Responsibilities Supports month-end processing and reporting within CAES calendar deadlines Assigns expenses to appropriate accounts or sub-accounts Maintains accurate and well-supported accounting records to the general ledger Interfaces with financial institutions regarding cash balances, transfers, and statements Prepares manual journal entries Reconciles balance sheet accounts Supports internal, external and U.S. Government audits Interfaces professionally and promptly with internal and external customers Maintains records on capitalized assets and depreciation schedules Interprets and applies complex concepts to accounting and auditing functions Analyzes large datasets and draw logical conclusions Perform and supervise the collection, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of data to disseminate to internal customers Understands and apply accounting processes within GAAP, IFRS and CAES policy guidelines Able to analyze situations accurately and recommend an effective course of action Prepares comprehensive, clear, and concise accounting, financial, audit, and statistical reports and schedules Initiates, plans and completes work assignments with minimum direction and control Applies accounting procedures used in calculating accruals, deferrals, and prepaids Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics and minimum two (2) years of Accounting experience; or, Master's Degree in Business, Finance and minimum one (1) year Accounting experience This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws.

In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license). Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics and Five (5) years of Accounting Experience Or Master's degree with 3-4 years of experience in Accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) ERP systems experience, preferably SAP and Oracle Communicates effectively with peers, internal, and external customers Handles challenging situations well Mathematical techniques and concepts involved in collecting, organizing, interpreting, summarizing, analyzing, and graphically presenting numerical data Knowledge of accounting principles and theories including accrual accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and preparation of financial reports in accordance with GAAP and IFRS Understands accounting procedures and transactions used in controlling and subsidiary account accruals, deferrals, bank reconciliations, the closing process, account receivables and payables Salary Range min/max:

Accountant II (65,203-94,608) and Accountant III (72,874-109,311). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
