Assist supervisors with various accounting tasks. Core Responsibilities * Ensure the accuracy of sales, cost of sales, and posting to the computer. * Review sale recaps for accuracy and post recaps to the general ledger system. * Serve as contact for branches with questions related to sale recaps. * Maintain Accounts Receivable * Record data in AS400 system. * Keep branches informed with monthly or bi-monthly A/R reports. * Facilitate Inventory Changes/Modifications * Post transfers and write-downs on a timely basis. * Adjust pricing and age dates as requested and approved * Record and post related journal entries * Reconcile Bank Statements * Perform various accounting tasks as required and requested by supervisor * Create and/or post Journal Entries. * Reconcile general ledger accounts. * Assist with month-end reporting and financial statement distribution * Review of all accounts payable vendor changes.
