Accountant

Our Team in Bismarck, ND is immediately hiring a Staff Accountant.

JOB SUMMARY

The accountant's nature of responsibilities involves keeping records of financial transactions. Verifies transactions as they occur or in a chronological order, such as invoices. Pay ranges from $55,000-$65,000 Depending on experience.

JOB DUTIES

• Month end and annual close including journal entries, reconciliations and analysis

• Prepare and maintain financial data in accordance with GAAP & company policies

• Record inter-company transactions & reconcile

• Assist with preparing annual audit work papers

• Complete special projects and miscellaneous reports as assigned

• Analyze current processes & make recommendations for improvements

• 1099 Compliance for maintenance vendors

• Prepare Sales and Use Tax returns. Compile supporting information+ Adding, deleting, & updating equipment in depreciation software

• Prepare payroll reports for quarterly, yearly and weekly reporting

• Provide support for 401k compliance

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting(Prefered) or equivilant experience
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills including; knowledge of excel, word, and outlook
• Attention to detail & organizational skills
