Requisition ID req30785 Working Title Accountant 3 Position Grade 13 Position Summary Office of Education is currently seeking an experienced and energetic professional interested in joining a diverse and complex department as an Accountant III. The ideal team member will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven professional with leadership skills to coordinate financial goals and fiscal work with personnel across multiple departments and locations. This individual will be responsible for monitoring and reconciling the financial activities of all the departments within Office of Education; including financial updates of business, program, and shared labor activity for complex departments with multiple cost centers, fiscal activity, and reporting needs; and working with the Financial Analyst to project expenses/revenues, and development of yearly budgets for all departments.

Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and successful completion of at least 15 credit hours of university-level accounting through intermediate accounting; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications • Setting priorities and meeting critical deadlines coordinating with other personnel and departments.
