What you'll do:
Understand the customer's business model, goals, and our role in growing our business and our customers business.
Increase the touch points within each Account, establish partnerships with key contacts within the customer account, utilizing relationships to identify, assess opportunities to increase sales growth.
Generate and provide monthly and annual sales reports for Accounts.
Provide seamless response to customer specific requests, essentially be the back-up to the Territory Sales Managers and understand the overall account strategy.
Analyse account trends (e.g. order histories, levels, etc.) and customer needs and apply insight in proactively identifying potential opportunities to drive additional sales.
Work closely with internal departments to coordinate and remain up-to-date on the status of the development and sampling of new products.
Coordinate with customer service, order fulfilment and production locations when necessary to facilitate on-time shipments, delivery dates, and resolve post-receipt issues (quality, quantity, etc.)
Identify insightful ways to make account management process most efficient by implementing best practices, reducing administrative tasks, and proactively addressing anticipated account needs.
Who you are:
You have any combination of education and experience equivalent to Associate's degree or higher Business, Marketing, or related discipline and 2-3 years experience in customer service, inside sales, or related customer support role.
You have well-developed communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to relate well with a wide range of colleagues and constituents.
You must be very detail-oriented and display effective organizational skills as well as be able to manage multiple priorities and be able to adapt to the changing demands of a dynamic business environment.
You must have prior knowledge of SFDC or similar CRM software.
You must convey strong customer commitment, and have a proven history of excelling in a fast-paced, professional environment.
