Account Specialist

Under the direction of the Account Specialist Lead, the Account Specialist will work with self-storage Owner & Operators to consult and service our Affiliates and maintain our SAFE product line customer service calls. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. An Account Specialist should have the ability to work well in a team environment and feel comfortable working in a feedback culture.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and provide customer service to client accounts

• Specialize in assisting clients with monthly reporting, invoicing, collections within the Salesforce CRM

• Assist customers with limited self-storage licenses and compliance

• Prepares work to be processed by gathering, sorting, organizing, and recording data, information, and documents

• Process and handle incoming calls and make outgoing calls as needed

• Conducts research on problems and resolving complaints

• Secure customer rapport through genuine and exceptionally responsive interactions

• Follow legal guidelines and timelines based on State Departments of Insurance compliance

• Other duties as assigned

• Self-motivated and self-disciplined while providing prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries

• Achieve assigned goals and balance priorities

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Excel

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Negotiation skills

• Works well in a team environment
