Account Specialist - Guided Medicare Solutions

Guided Medicare Solutions is an insurance agency founded in 2004 focused on offering affordable healthcare solutions. By partnering with healthcare providers and community organizations our team has established itself as one of the leading FMO's in the Medicare industry.

The Account Specialist will be responsible for managing a Book of Business (BoB) which includes assisting customers/clients with selecting plans, enrolling in plans, customer service inquiries, general questions/concerns, and establishing a quality relationship with the customer.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide exceptional customer service and care to all customers/clients (special emphasis on serving your own book of business as it grows past 1,200 active customers)

• Takes point on resolving all issues to ensure customer's needs are met

• Interacts with customers throughout the year to make sure their needs are currently being met.

• Assist the Account Managers with their customers as needed (team) and as directed by company management.

• Work with customers (either in person or over the phone/email) to review their plan options and potentially assist them in enrolling into a different plan.

• General office & operational duties such as:

• Processing applications/enrollments

• Greeting customers as they arrive for appointments

• Work with other teams and departments to assist meeting and exceeding our company goals and objectives.

• Business functions and/or activities in coordination with the Business Development Manager(s)Assigned networking functions & external facing business development needs.

• Assist the marketing team with content as requested and assigned.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• State Required Disability and Life Insurance License

• At least one (1) year of related experience and/or training

• College degree from an accredited institution preferred, High School diploma or GED acceptable

• Must be able to contract with all carriers

Starting salary for this position is $67,728
