Aon Is Looking For A Commercial Lines Insurance Account Specialist/Account Manager

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions while developing your knowledge and growing your broking career at Aon in Sacramento, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the processing of policy and related documentation. Activities include follow-ups as needed; check new and renewal policies as per Aon guidelines; record policy receipt and delivery; verify endorsements; collect and review audits and dividends; order corrections of the above items

  • Manage key processes and internal activities to deliver client-facing services

  • Establish ability to work as broker with moderate to highly complex accounts

  • Demonstrate effective working knowledge of carrier underwriting practices & processes

  • Demonstrate emerging coverage competency, knowledge of markets and relationships

  • Possess basic competency on assigned coverages (common forms, exclusions, endorsed enhancements)

  • Possess & utilize basic negotiation skills for the brokerage process

  • Participate in and promote pre- and post-placement servicing (premium financing, claims, etc.)

  • Actively seek out new and challenging projects

Experience:

  • Must have organizational and project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with high level attention to detail.

  • Critical Thinking skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to clearly express thoughts & concepts.

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook

  • Minimum 2 Years Property/Casualty Insurance Experience preferred

  • Active Property and Casualty License is required to be obtained

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5 years of industry experience.
