Job Description

  • Under guidance, completes a variety of client transactions, reviews documentation for completeness and accuracy, and interprets information for correct coding and adherence to established policies and procedures.

  • Handles various account activities, which may include opening or closing of accounts and/or collection or distribution of assets.

  • Ensures activities are completed in compliance with fiduciary standards as well as internal policies and procedures.

  • Coordinates with internal partners to resolve inquiries and issues.

  • May contact clients to obtain required information, respond to questions and resolve problems.

VIEW JOBS 10/1/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-30T00:00 Job Location USA, Louisville, KY Job Posting Title Health Services Informatics and Analytics Specialist The Challenge This position will support GEA's Health Benefits & Services team in working with multiple vendors to configure, maintain, and continuously optimize the electronic medical record (EMR) and related documentation systems, as well as provide advanced analytics support across multiple service lines, including our leave programs, onsite health, post-offer/pre-hire, early intervention, and lineside prevention programs. This individual will work with internal and vendor colleagues and be accountable for all aspects of the product roadmaps and internal technical support of the electronic health record and related systems, including the execution of ongoing system enhancements and data and analytics management across all GEA sites. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has systems expertise, is self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple projects across matrixed teams and organizations. What you will Do * Maintain and enhance Occupational Health Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and related systems * Ensure system controllership, maintain access, data privacy requirements, and audits * Manage EMR vendor supplier performance, defect identification/ resolution and process/system enhancements * Manage configuration updates, validate, and test software updates; end-user/customer training and satisfaction pulsing; communicate EMR enhancements with stakeholders * Support all technical aspects of IT platforms/systems utilized by the Health Benefits & Services teams (Windchill, Sharepoint sites, IDM distribution groups, WebCenter, etc.) * Support Health Benefits & Services teams' learning management processes across multiple GEA systems * Serve as technical and services lead for Health Benefits & Services teams to partner with GEA IT, GEA VMO, and Infosys * Create and develop essential data analytics and reporting package across all Health Benefits & Services teams to support strategic healthcare objectives and decision making across all GEA sites * Identify health and productivity trends; deploy advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data; leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes What you need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in mathematics, IT, health informatics or related business field * Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with electronic medical records and large data sets in healthcare field * Proficiency in SQL, SAS and related systems * Experience with tools such as Tableau and Qlik for creating data visualizations * Expertise in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working across multiple IT systems and large healthcare data sets * Proven ability to translate user needs into functional specifications * Familiarity with global data privacy standards relevant to maintaining health record systems and global healthcare programs * Experience with supplier performance, including contract management * Experience with performance measurement via scorecard/audit tools and processes * Project management expertise * Strategic thinker: strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; good business acumen; ability to recognize and address systemic issues * Credible change agent with demonstrated initiative, facilitation and interpersonal skills; proven ability to work well with and influence all levels of stakeholders * Demonstrated organizational skills, high standard of accuracy, attention to detail, with excellent follow-up skills, manage time and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Experience working with global teams: culturally sensitive and able to work effectively across global time zones * Ability to travel up to 20% * Relocation Assistance may be provided GE Appliances is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
