Account Sales Manager for Mansfield and Venus, TX

The Account Sales/Manager Combination is responsible for up-selling and fulfillment/replenishment, focused on execution and merchandising. Accountable for retention and penetration of small and large format customers by geography and may handle some on-premise customers.


  • Full-time; Monday- Friday; 1st shift ( 6:30 am)

Position Responsibilities

  • Sell Keurig Dr Pepper brands to maximize brand growth, share growth, brand distribution, and to obtain specific volume objectives.

  • Contact key personnel in assigned accounts pre-selling products, promotions, displays, point-of sale material, beverage section revamps, service requirements.

  • Develop and implement beverage shelf re-allocations designed to maximize the sales of Keurig Dr Pepper brands.

  • Participate in the installation of revamped beverage sections, displays and placement of POS material according to company merchandising standards.

  • Stock and merchandise Keurig Dr Pepper brands in the allocated beverage section, including racks and secondary displays.

  • Assist in the sale, placement, and changing of vendors in chain store accounts; check regularly for proper mechanical operation, cleanliness, selection and product availability.

  • Maintain accurate sales records for all assigned accounts, including special reports on promotional activity, competitive sales and space allocations.

  • Maintain adequate amounts of back stock in each account to ensure product availability for in-store stocking and merchandising.


  • 2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment or in a sales position being held accountable for sales targets/upselling

  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly

  • Valid driver's license

Job Summary The Key Account Manager will work in collaboration with and under the direction of the sales management team to support the Walmart and Sam's Club business. The area of focus for this role will include analytics and sales activities supporting a portfolio of brands, products, promotional plans and business development objectives. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Executional (40%) * Utilize fact-based selling skills to develop and present programs that focus on not only Spectrum Brands growth, but overall customer growth * Manage SKU level profitability throughout the P&L * Conduct and present account business reviews * Attend customer meetings and trade shows as appropriate * Coordinate with sales team and demand planning to determine account level sales forecasts * Maintain current knowledge of market conditions and trends through field research and collaboration with other sales teams Strategic (20%) * Partner with the sales and replenishment teams to develop strategies and programs that achieve the objectives of Walmart and Spectrum Brands * Build collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization to facilitate growth objectives * Engage with all cross-functional business partners as appropriate to recommend opportunities to increase penetration, based on knowledge of the customer Analytical (40%) * Analyze customer POS, syndicated data, and market data to develop plans that drive sales and market share growth * Weekly reporting to support the development of sales programs and replenishment strategies * Ability to understand and leverage weather data to drive sales results across the portfolio * Maintain focus on an OMNI approach to the business, leveraging e-commerce business partners as needed Education and Experience Profile * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or related field preferred * 1-3 years of relevant sales experience * Expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods environment is preferred Required Skills Required Skills * Experience working with Walmart Retail Link * Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint * Superior communication skills; listening, presentation and written * Strong business and financial acumen * Working knowledge of syndicated data; Nielsen, NPD, IRI, etc. * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously * Strong analytical & project management skills with acute attention to details * Experience working on a seasonal business is preferred * Clear sense of urgency * Possesses creativity and passion to deliver actionable recommendations on the business * Desire for upward mobility, personal, and professional growth * Ability to work independently and be a self-starter within a team setting Work Environment Ability to travel as needed Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
