xtraCHEF is looking for an Account Representative to manage assigned client accounts. You will address customer concerns and contact prospects to expand your account portfolio.
Your goal will be to foster long-term relationships with clients and help grow our business. You will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with your designated accounts and actively identify potential opportunities to maximize customer success.
We expect you to be energetic and goal-driven with excellent communication skills. This role may often be challenging so you should be able to remain calm and polite in tough situations. If you also have some experience in sales or customer service, wed like to meet you.
What you'll do... Be the main point of contact of assigned customers Research & Identify new opportunities within our customer base. Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound touchpoints to our customers. Upsell and expand customer loyalty through a relationship-based approach. Negotiate contracts and handle paperwork (e.g. invoices, orders) Follow up regularly after closing a sale to ensure client satisfaction Present and demonstrate new or additional products and services to existing customers Approach prospective clients through cold-calling, email etc. to meet sales targets Send reports on sales activity, accounts status and possible issues Addressing customer complaints and queries of assigned clients Have a thorough knowledge of product, market conditions and competitive activities. Upselling or cross-selling products and services and approaching new customers Collaborating with account managers and submitting reports to upper management Work directly with Customer Success, Support and Sales teams to ensure customer retention and identify upsell opportunities. Work with Marketing to create customer testimonials, case studies and referrals. Utilize Salesforce & Outreach.io to ensure activities and company and contact information are documented properly.
RequirementsSelf-starter with the ability to productively work from home Bachelors degree required Experience as an Account Representative or other sales role in B2B SaaS and/or Restaurant/Hospitality operations is preferred. Experience in customer service is a plus Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce Strong communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and multitasking ability Goal-driven with ability to work under pressure Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to build new and trusting relationships Must be able to think analytically and have proficient computer skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Ability to communicate with C-Level Executives professionally and confidently Strong desire to be grow into a B2B, SaaS technology sales role Results oriented with an ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Note: xtraCHEF is co-headquartered in New York City and Philadelphia. We are currently working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and open to hiring remotely. Preference will be given to candidates located in, NYC and Philadelphia metropolitan areas and the East Coast.
