Account Representative

We are currently seeking a full-time Account Representative at our West Station (Millersville) Location.

Account Representatives at Lancaster EMS are responsible for emergency, non-emergency, and contract billing; insurance verification, assisting with collections, posting payments, and providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced with Medicare and Medicaid billing

• Knowledgeable with CMS regulations and guidelines

• Dependable, detail oriented, and self-motivated

• Able to read and understand Explanation of Benefits

• Familiar with Navinet and Promise

• Able to assist patients, either in person or over the phone, with payments, questions or issues

• Confident and possess good communication skills (a must)

• Bilingual (a plus, but not required)

• Typing skills - 40+ wpm

Qualifications include:

• High School/College Diploma or G.E.D.

• One year of medical billing experience or equivalent experience in a medical office
