The Role:
Your Core Responsibilities
The Account Representative will provide clinical support and data collection with Moon Surgical customers and Maestro programs. This includes surgical case support, troubleshooting in the OR, data collection, and questionnaire completion before, during, and after Maestro cases.
The Account Representative will be the face of Moon Surgical in customer accounts, building a positive and productive customer relationship commensurate with the Moon brand. The Representative will also be a primary channel for field feedback, which will refine and focus the company's commercial and product development efforts.
The ideal candidate will have clinical and surgical support experience and the ability to manage surgical products in an OR environment, preferably with general, laparoscopic, or robotic surgery background.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills. As the face of the company, they must effectively engage with a cross-functional clinical team, including surgeons, nurses, and administrators. Additionally, they must maintain regular and structured communication with the leadership team to ensure that field information is conveyed efficiently and clearly.

The successful individual will be adaptable and energized by a dynamic startup environment as a key team member working to improve surgical outcomes within minimally invasive surgery.
Your Day-to-day Activities

  • Develop the strong clinical acumen necessary to articulate and convey the value of the Maestro System to clinical teams.

  • Educate surgeons and staff on Maestro's clinical & economic benefits and deliver established messaging and best practices with confidence, enthusiasm, and respect.

  • Collect and upload critical perioperative data as part of the Maestro Limited Market Release and Quality Improvement Registry.

  • Guide surgeons and facility staff in using Maestro before, during set-up, and within the case to ensure efficient and successful surgical outcomes and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure deliverables are performed per Moon's QMS and company policies.

  • Own day-to-day coordination of account activities and necessary tasks to support procedures, including managing logistics, inventory, training, and deployment of product updates.

  • Effectively work cross-functionally with Moon Surgical Team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Resolve customer issues or complaints, and relay customer feedback promptly.
    How You'll Fit In
    The role will interface with team members across the company and report to the Clinical Account Manager and/or the Area Vice President and the Commercial organization.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or science-related field

  • Extensive time spent in the operating room supporting surgeons

  • 1+ years of experience in medical device clinical support or sales

  • Self-starter with the ability to function in a rapidly evolving startup environment

  • Must live near a major US airport

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Experience and interest in the laparoscopic and/or surgical robotics space. Specific soft tissue (general, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic) surgery experience/exposure preferred

  • Capability to use computer organization & communication skills, including tools like Notion, Slack, Outlook, and Excel
