First American Resources is a manufacturing company located in Mableton Georgia. We specialize in producing pre-painted aluminum, carbon, and stainless steel. Slitting, spooling, lancing, and stamping are also performed in our integrated facility. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, driven and have the desire to learn to more!

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Account Representative will serve as the key interface for customers, with a responsibility of maintaining a positive solution oriented relationship internally and externally, while fulfilling orders to meet and exceed customer needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as the liaison between customers and the internal departments (production, shipping, scheduling, purchasing, etc.) to address customer needs, impacts, and solutions before, during, and after order fulfillment.

• Effectively establish and communicate solutions to facilitate the completion of:

• Quoting

• Forecasting

• Selling

• Processing orders

• Work with internal teams/departments to develop strategies in effort to ensure timely completion of customer orders, shipments, and communications.

• Evaluate and document issues such as claims resolutions, billing discrepancies, and outstanding inquiries from customers.

• Stay current on issues impacting the industry by utilizing internal and external resources

• Understand order-to-cash processes and applicable systems

• Example - Plex (current ERP system) and Microsoft applications

• Maintain flexibility to perform duties and advise on means and methods to improve the functionality of the role.

DESIRABLE JOB REQUISITES:

Education/Training/Experience:

• Preferred Bachelors or equivalent on-the-job experience

• Customer service/account management experience (preferred)

• Familiarity or interest in the manufacturing industry, supply/value-chain processes (preferred)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

• Ambition for growth
