About the Role
This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor. This position is responsible for AR duties such as collections, invoicing, cash application, journal entries, audit support, month end financial reporting and other various AR tasks. Ensure internal control compliance, follow U.S. GAAP, and comply with external regulatory laws and ensure corporate and external deadlines are met.
Your Responsibilities
Responsible for collecting and investigating customer past due invoices
Researching and resolving account discrepancies
Production and manual invoicing
Cash application to customer accounts
Journal Entries as needed
Assist with month end, quarter end and year-end financial closes and reports
Participate in internal and external audits
Perform other duties as assigned by AR Supervisor
Who we are looking for
Education
Experience
1-2 years accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills (i.e., pivot tables, lookups, and workbooks)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
ERP system (J.D. Edwards/Enterprise One or SAP)
Automotive experience is a plus
Your preferred qualifications
Possess superior organizational and documentation skills, attention to detail and strong teamwork
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external customers
