Job Description:

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acts as custodian of monies on behalf of the school system, makes out deposit slips, deposits monies, collects tuition, and insurance payments, and computes and records cash.

Prepares, enters, and records all receipts of funds in appropriate journals.

Prepares monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.

Support annual audit as directed by the Administration providing information as requested.

Processes leave requests and maintains appropriate records in cooperation with the Payroll Specialist.

Maintains Business Office Petty Cash Fund for the needs of the District.

Assists Payroll Clerk and Accounts Payable and performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Business Manager.

Cross-trained in all business office functions.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School graduate

Education or experience in business

Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable functions

Previous experience with computers desirable
