Develop and coordinate various aspects of CFHP's strategic development plan as it relates to community outreach programs and agencies including community level promotion of CFHP's government programs, which are the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Medicaid STAR program, emerging market initiatives, and participation in other CFHP government programs sponsored events. Consistently supports compliance by maintaining privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to the applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and CFHP policies and procedures. In addition must be accountable for communication, implementation, enforcement, monitoring and oversight of compliance policies and practices to include compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) related policies in regards to all aspects of operations within Member Services.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field is preferred. Three years experience in Medicaid, Commercial HMO insurance or public relations is required. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required experience.
Appropriate Life and Health Insurance license in applicable jurisdiction(s) preferred or within nine (9) months from hire date required. Maintain a valid driver's license.
