About The Job

This job is a member of the Customer Loyalty and Insights Partner Strategy team within the Marketing & Loyalty Division. Responsible for designing innovative promotions and products to both create value for AAdvantage members and optimize revenue for American and our partner network. Serves as a consultant and advisor to our Partner Management team to build out an effective partner network.

Specifically, you'll do the following:

  • Work collaboratively with Mastercard, Citi, and Barclays to design and develop a card linked mileage earning product

  • Forecasts revenue and optimizes deals through financial modeling

  • Provides analytical support for the partner management team and facilitates business development opportunities

  • Develops partner category strategy to assist with AAdvantage partner innovation

  • Works with the Partner Marketing Channel Strategy team to provide insights and analytics that help develop the marketing story

  • Supports projects as needed

  • Collaborates with different teams across American including Digital, Marketing, Legal and Finance

  • Some travel required, up to 20%

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field

  • 3 years of experience in marketing, relationship management, or project management

  • Financial modeling/analysis experience

  • Skills in the Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Analytical skills

  • Relationship building

  • Strategic planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting experience

  • Contract negotiations experience

  • Proven high level of initiative, creativity, collaboration and follow-up in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across multiple departments and partner entities

  • Loyalty program working knowledge
