Account Managers (AMs) within Thomas Marketing Services oversee full-service marketing programs and act as the main point of contact for marketing, website, and SEO programs. AMs collaborate with clients' internal stakeholders to maximize marketing efforts while reinforcing the client's brand, digital presence, and voice. This role reports directly to an Account Director on the Client Services team and works alongside a team of other Associate AMs and AMs.

What you'll be doing as an AM:

  • Serve as clients' primary point of contact for their Thomas Marketing Services programs, including SEO, PPC, full-funnel marketing, and website builds and rebuilds

  • Identify account objectives and provide strategic and tactical recommendations to meet client goals

Conduct monthly or weekly client calls to review program KPIs, deliverable updates, and overall program progress

  • Collect and document client goals and deliverable feedback for use by cross-functional teams (design, development, SEM, and social media)

  • Collaborate with internal creative teams to execute program deliverables; including content and messaging for website pages, SEO, emails, blogs, eBooks, and social media

  • Identify opportunities to further support clients, including upsells to additional TMS products, and support SEO Analysts to grow programs into full-service marketing programs

  • Liaison with Thomas sales team to proactively address account issues or identify new business opportunities; manage scope creep

  • Some travel preferred to conduct annual client visits

What you bring to our team:

  • 3 - 4 years experience in a digital marketing role; agency preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of client-facing experience

  • High proficiency with best practices for SEO, social media, email marketing, and blog writing

  • Experience with our tech stack: Hubspot, Google Analytics, WordPress

  • Outstanding communication and people skills

Some nice-to-have experience:

  • B2B and/or industrial/manufacturing industry knowledge

  • Agency experience

  • Experience using SEO tools (such as SEMRush, AHRefs, Google Ads, Optmyzer, Google Search Console), LinkedIn analytics, Data Studio reporting from Google, A/B testing software, and/or chatbot plugins

  • Certifications: Hubspot (email, Inbound), Google Analytics, Google Ads, or project management

Responsible for the business operations of an assigned client contracted service area. </p><p>2. This position provides field support including training, guidance with starting new clients, troubleshooting customer request/complaints, coordinating site visits and develop long term relationships with clients and contractors. </p><p>3. Serve as the local point of contact with clients and perform inspections on all accounts on a scheduled basis to ensure work performed satisfies company and client quality standards. </p><p>4. Manage, expand and diversify client relationships with an eye toward potential add-on sales opportunities and the ability to determine pricing, staffing and logistics. </p><p>5. Supervise and direct Night Manager(s); ensure the client’s strategy is executed and all services are performed correctly. </p><p>6. Implement company policies and procedures associated with client service levels.</p><p><strong>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>1. Work with a high level of autonomy on a daily basis but will still have access to support from the Director of Operations and our administrative support teams.</p><p>2. Negotiating contracts, procuring supplies from clients and ensuring high client satisfaction. </p><p>3. Promote the sales of, procure and monitor supplies for clients. </p><p>4. Effectively communicate all client issues with contractors and the Direct of Operations promptly address any client issues or problems that arise. </p><p>5. Use City Wide’s CRM to perform client inspections, adding extra charges, Night Manager routing, etc. </p><p>6. Discuss surveys with your clients and encourage participation. Communicate client survey responses to the Director of Operations, Night Managers, contractors </p><p>7. Develop and implement a plan with the Director of Operations and the Night Managers to resolve any client complaints or deficiencies in service and actively monitor compliance.</p><p>8. Participate and be present in monthly contractor paydays.</p><p>9. Maintain updated route sheets, key/alarm sheets, and monthly planner for each client.</p><p>10. Notify Sales Executives of potential accounts in your territory, especially new construction.</p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p><li> 3 – 5 year’s sales/management experience in building maintenance, facility management or equivalent</li><p>experience.</p><li> Prior experience as an Account Manager, Business to Business Sales, Account Representative, or other</li><p>customer service route-based positions preferred.</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Heath, dental and vision insurance, PTO, STD/LTD, Simply IRA, mileage reimbursement</p> City Wide Facility Solutions Cincinnati OH
