Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a client site location providing Office Document Services by establishing and implementing standard procedures for team operations, with responsibility for the full spectrum of employee management, development and training.

  • Act as a subject matter expert to both the client and the Office Document Services team.

  • Provide leadership in a customer service intensive environment.

  • Create a work environment where the Office Document Services team understands both Williams Lea Tag and client expectations, and work together to support each other and the organization.

  • Responsible for staffing decisions, including interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and disciplining team members.

  • Manage team compensation, promotional increases and merit increases strategically, balancing employee rewards and department profitability.

  • Identify potential future leaders from the Office Document Services team, with a focus on succession planning.

  • Understand team financial targets, analyzing financial trends, identifying shortfalls, and create action plans to recover revenue or cut expenses as needed.

  • Create, maintain, and enhance strong customer relationships across various levels of the client organization.

  • Maximize profitability through the effective utilization of assets and site resources, and identifying additional revenue opportunities.

  • Ensure timely completion of necessary administrative duties such as payroll procedures, invoicing and accounting procedures and all client and Williams Lea Tag required monthly management reports.

Position Summary: This position is accountable for obtaining raw materials and services at the least total cost within guidelines set by division, corporate and local site directives. This position is accountable for the implementation and control of the procurement of raw materials, packaging labels and supply items at a competitive price in the proper quantity and desired quality in a timely manner to ensure production flow remains uninterrupted. This position is also responsible for the distribution function to ensure cost efficiency and timely movement of inbound and outbound freight to meet customer service goals. This position is responsible for the production forecast, scheduling and production orders to meet all customer service requirements as well as accountable for establishing standardized Purchasing procedures within the Area Supply Chain, that need to comply with applicable site, division and/or corporate guidelines to achieve Working Capital objectives including Turns and IQR Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Negotiate with vendors on prices including meeting with representatives to keep informed of changes in the market and raw materials available. * Responsible for purchases to maintain responsiveness to production requirements and to obtain best possible quality and price. * Approve all raw materials and finished goods purchase orders. * Manage finished goods inventories at all locations to meet or exceed service goals and ensure proper safety stock levels and inventory control. * Issue purchase orders for all raw materials, plant supplies, and purchased finished goods at the plant, which includes confirmation of orders. * Process all vendor returns. * Maintain vendor files as it relates to Purchase Orders and requisitions at the site, including information in the computer databases. * Monitor vendor performance data and sub-standards to bring about corrective action. * Schedule and plan deliveries. * Strategic Planning for Area Supply Chain Purchasing Basic Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status * Must have a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience * Must have experience using Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Must have at least 5 years of experience in a procurement/buying role in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications: * Prior supervisor experience is strongly preferred * Strong communication skills, both oral and written * Keen negotiation skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks * Strong problem solving skills * Green Belt and/or APIC Certification course work preferred * 2 or more years of scheduling in a manufacturing environment preferred * Computer experience such as QAD/MITI, Business Objects,IQR,MES,AOM preferred Who we are - At Sherwin-Williams, we're proud of the company we keep — our family of loyal employees.
