Build new and maintain current relationships with the facility's referral sources. Assist facility marketing team with developing and executing marketing plan in order to achieve overall census and payer mix goals.
Demonstrated success in external marketing to physicians, discharge planners and other healthcare referral sources preferred.
Prefer a graduate of a four year college with one year's experience in the health care or long term care field or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of the position can be fully met.
Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, visitors, personnel, and support agencies.
Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
Work with the Administrator in the planning, coordination, and implementation of a facility marketing plan.
Majority of time is spent networking and working with physicians, hospital discharge planners, case managers and other healthcare referral sources to present facility and Alden information, gather resident referrals, and evaluate potential resident admissions that contribute to Alden's overall revenue growth.
Attend and participate in facility weekly marketing meetings
Develop and maintain new referral sources for the facility and Alden in general
Perform other related duties as assigned.
