About the Role
We're looking for a customer-focused Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will have a dedicated roster of wholesale accounts - each of which will be a specialty coffee roaster. You'll drive direct impact on our business by helping your roaster throughout their customer lifestyle. This is a high impact position combining equal parts sales, relationship management, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings a proven record of success in a B2B2C company where they have driven revenue, retention and growth. This person will work best in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment to effectively manage a high volume of accounts.
What will you be doing?
Evaluating opportunities to increase sales and retention within a book of business, and drive customer satisfaction
Providing insightful technical answers, and recommending creative ways for your accounts to get the most out of Sudden
Communicating on a regular basis with both accounts and internal teams to drive customer success and satisfaction
Working cross-functionally to develop required analytics tools, commercial support, and process to support win-backs and grow your accounts' succes
2+ years of experience in Account Management or similar role
Excellent verbal & written communication skills. You can explain complex issues in simple terms and adapt your tone for different users
Ability to contribute to building new processes and systems
Comfortable giving presentations to groups of any size & audience - from walking your accounts through our process to presenting your results to high-level executives.
Analytical skills with proven ability to use Excel to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations for our partners
Experience managing forecasts and achieving goals
Strong, consistently professional communication skills in person, on the phone, and through email
A team player who's able to work in a fast-paced environment with technical and non-technical teams
Bonus (Preferred, but not required)
Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity levels
Previous work in the coffee, food, or other relevant industries
B.A. or B.S. Degree
