Position Description:

As the Account Manager for an Irvine-based digital transformation client, you will have responsibility to develop, implement and maintain a strategic account plan, deliver CGI services and accelerate year over year profitable revenue growth. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of the sales and delivery process for this innovative account and additional commercial accounts as required. Experience in cloud-centric, enterprise digital transformation required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of the strategic account plan through establishing a strong working relationship with key stakeholders and bringing the "best of CGI" to address their challenges.

  • Overall ownership of account including client relationship, delivery, sales, contracts, staffing, recruiting, and financial management.

  • Develop strong relationships with existing client stakeholders while expanding the CGI footprint to new executive stakeholders and decision makers.

  • Collaborate with other account team members in the delivery of digital transformation services to ensure customer expectations for innovation and quality are met.

  • Meet targeted revenue and profitability through collaborative leadership of the entire account team.

  • Develop a strategy for growth with an understanding of bringing the best of CGI to the client (include position against completion).

  • Create a 3 to 5 year rolling plan.

  • Develop a P&L and manage the P&L to targets

  • Lead the branding and positioning in the account.

  • Account planning updated quarterly with key CGI Executive input.

  • Radar and sales discussions weekly with team.

  • Provide structure to the account.

  • Focused on engagement, delivery of the work.

  • Manage team expectations (task mgt/assignment expectations).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Demonstrated success in a customer-facing role leading a services team in the delivery of digital transformation services involving custom application development, migration of key services and functions to public cloud providers and strategic modernization and monetization of data assets

  • 10+ years minimum IT and Consulting Services experience

  • Direct delivery experience with cloud-native techniques including agile development, DevOps, continuous integration / continuous delivery

  • Preferred direct delivery experience with cloud-native technologies including public cloud providers, cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes and modern development frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud

  • Strong ties to Orange County, CA with the ability to interact with key decision makers in the Commercial Sector

  • Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&L's, and complex pricing models

  • Business development including strategic sales planning

  • Strategy and business management

  • Client engagement management and relationship building

  • A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect; superior conceptual thinking as well as analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels

  • Proven record of creating and maintaining business partnerships and relationships

  • Strong decision making, judgment and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional virtual teams
