Business Line Manager, Growth and Metals

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.

You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Division and is responsible for five segments within the region:

Metals, Food and Beverage, Data Centers, Batteries, and Cement. You will be mainly accountable for: •Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy. •Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value proposition to customers. •Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. •Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required, and 8+ years of industrial experience.

• Significant knowledge of engineering principles, technical sales experience, knowledge of automation products/systems, understanding of project schedules, managing technical support personal to deliver cohesive messages to customers

• Knowledge and customer relationships in one or more of the following industries Data Center, F&B, Battery, Cement or Metal in the region is preferred.

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
