A Brief Overview
Overall management of the existing Service Level Agreements and Warranty business for DiaSorin
From day to day selling activities, to re-capturing instruments not under service to managing and
maintaining the business processes and revenue expectations for the service product line, the Service Sales Account Manager is an integral part of the Service Sales Team's ability to achieve its annual revenue targets.
What you will do
Manage day to day selling activities for the Service Agreement/Warranty product lines including:
o Creation, submission and follow up of renewal notification for existing service agreement customers
o Creation, submission and follow up of expiration notification for warranty customers
o Management of existing renewal process for existing customers
o Day to day customer communication regarding renewal of agreements
o Process incoming Service Agreement Purchase orders, in collaboration with Customer Service
o Process Time and Material orders, in collaboration with Customer Service
o Update the Service Software real-time for accounts moving on/off a Time and Material status
Management of the Salesforce.com contract renewal process to ensure:
o Instrument coverage is correctly identified, paying particular attention to service expiration dates
o Getting service renewal options/quotes along with pricing in front of customers 30-90 days in advance
o Order Management and Billing information is accurately entered
o Revenue recognition occurs appropriately
o Where applicable, ensure service coverage associated with Reagent Rental instruments is maintained and meets contractual obligations by working with associated Business Teams
o Collaborate with Order Management and Finance teams, when needed, to ensure accuracy of information in Salesforce and SAP
o Maintain and track activities within the Salesforce.com platform to ensure metric reporting accuracy
Ensuring the accuracy of contract information is maintained in databases
Reading and interpreting current customer contracts for quoting existing prices
Quoting and creating new services sold separately from the Master Agreement/Contract
Direct Selling Activities
o Provide written and verbal communication of service offerings to customer base
o Creation, submission and follow up of renewal notifications for existing service agreements and expiring warranties
o Manage and maintain the business processes and revenue expectations for the service product line to achieve annual revenue targets
Identify opportunities, understanding the purchasers buying cycle, asking for the sale and facilitate the hand- off of qualified leads to field sales representatives.
Management of pipeline to achieve or exceed revenue targets for service and other revenue goals within the Service team
Participate in field Sales calls, as needed
Create new processes for automation and efficiency
Other duties as assigned
Participate in the identification and creation of new service offerings to expand the portfolio and annual revenue - i.e. reliability upgrades, customer training, validation services, etc.
Out of the box thinking/creativity to find new sources of revenue growth

Experience with an ERP system, SAP, Salesforce.com and Oracle preferred
Ability to effectively work independently and with minimal supervision
