POSITION PROFILE

This Account Manager role requires significant New Business Development work as well as Account Management.

The Account Manager 2, Target will build relationships at VP level inside client organization within assigned account base. This role works with (up to 20) accounts to set account and department strategy inside the organization, account retention and expansion, and management of the day to day sales activities.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain relationships with VP level executives.

  • Gain understanding of clients' business challenges and goals.

  • Set account and department strategy in partnership with the client aligned with Ricoh's industry and domain roadmap.

  • Execute Ricoh's Core Equipment and Core Services Strategies within client accounts.

  • Position and pitch Core and standard solutions and collaborates with others to drive qualified opportunities.

  • Engages premium rep for expansion of premium services.

  • Uses collaboration to build trust, confidence and influence with client.

  • Clearly articulates Ricoh's position in the industry and value to the client.

  • Drives profitable revenue, account penetration and expansion, and addition of services.

  • Conducts regular meetings with clients to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit expectations.

  • Leverages CRM to enter/track all sales data and activities daily.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field.

  • 5-10 years account management experience.

  • Proven consultative selling skills.

VIEW JOBS 9/28/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-27T00:00 Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Partners with Account Executives/Underwriters to establish support needs for renewals and/or new business policies (i.e., identify/gather relevant account information to quote and/or bind the policy; create exhibits, etc.). Prepares documents and participate in pre-renewal meetings. Prepares underwriting/pricing exhibits (i.e., exposures, experience rating, profit and loss analysis, expense models, updated account information, etc.). Manages account documentation (i.e., proposals, agreement letters, reinsurance contracts, collateral agreements, policy change, endorsements, cancellations, etc.). Ensures accurate and timely servicing and billing of accounts. Communicates with brokers/agencies, MGAs, and internal departments. (i.e., researches and resolves issues, responds to inquiries and questions). Quotes accounts by reviewing exposures and experience rating, updating account information, rates and adjusts the price, as requested. May complete renewals based on formal guidelines, commonly referred to as Letter of Authority. Provides information for regulatory compliance (i.e., statutory filings, proof of insurance, certificates). Participates in projects/assignments as requested. In addition: Manages relationships with Account Executives, agents, Managing General Agents (MGAs), as well as peers and business partners. May include agency visits. Actively participates in meetings. Negotiates and resolves conflicting priorities. Responsible for managing assigned work. Does not manage others. Education, Work Experience & Knowledge Bachelor's Degree preferred. Two or more years insurance experience related to rate, quote, and issuance of P&C Insurance is preferred. Physical Requirements Operates standard office equipment (66%-100%) Sitting (can stand at will) (66%-100%) Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required.
