Now let's talk about the position:
As an Associate Account Manager you will provide customer service to retirement plan clients and support to retirement plan consultants and account executives with the goal of client retention. You resolve client issues efficiently and accurately primarily through phone and electronic communication methods. You'll utilize superior customer service skills to respond to client requests in methods that exceed their expectations. You are responsible for managing the client and prospect by being accessible and responsive to the Consultants and keeping them advised of deadlines and updates, serving internal and external customers in a positive, professional manner, and following all guidelines on confidentiality.
As an Associate Account Manager you will:
Learn and assist with plan investments, ERISA regulations, plan design and financial education for client employees.
Support consultants in preparation of client and participant meeting materials
Maintain client information in the customer management system including meeting materials and legal plan documents
Organize work flow to ensure timely, efficient processes
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy to strive for any work presented to the client is error free.
Participate or lead department wide initiatives related to operational efficiencies and implementation of best practices.
Provide support and assistance to consultants including, assisting with client service issues brought to the consultant's attention; keeping the consultant informed of service issues both internally and issues with external service providers.
Develop "expertise areas" as assigned these may be in relation to specific products, Investment products, third party service partners, external recordkeeping vendors, FINRA/SEC compliance, or software.
