What You'll Get to Do:

This position is responsible for assuming overall account management including maintaining and expanding current business at assigned strategic accounts for the Strategic Business Development Division. Develop sales by identifying and meeting customer requirements; coordinating sales negotiations; and providing administrative support working with product management, engineering, operations, and local representatives partners. Aligns domestic vision and strategies with business unit's global direction. Assist in developing vision and strategy that promotes diversified product offerings to potential high growth strategic customers and emerging markets, both domestic and offshore. Provides information for forecasting market sales and assists in developing departmental and account budgets.

Assumes full responsibility for comprehensive strategic account management.

  • Maintain and expand current business through effective support, service, account management and sales promotion and coordination.

  • Comprehensive strategic account management for assigned accounts resulting in increased sales (domestic and global) and meeting/exceeding business unit plans.

  • Assume total accounts responsibility, including design and promotion, service and operations, credit, and delivery. Work with the representative and channel partners in managing business at the assigned accounts.

  • Determine current and potential market and product trends. Report results and makes recommendations to direct manager and the executive team. Monitor competitive products and activities.

  • Support the divisional CRM strategy to ensure full utilization of CRM process for assigned accounts.

  • Development and management of business plan and budget including but not limited to sales strategies, business metrics, relationship plan.

What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • A college degree with a technical background (Engineering preferred).

  • Minimum 2 years successful industrial device sales experience.

Position Summary: May manage anywhere from one dedicated account up to 10 accounts. Often travels for client needs (e.g., claim reviews, stewardship discussions). Book of accounts may cover multiple industries, but individual begins demonstrating expertise in select industry (or industries). Serves as single point of contact for clients; highly responsive to requests and often identifies issues/challenges before client.
