Location: Midwest to Eastern U.S.
The Account Manager for this division, Tapes, Labels and Coatings (TLC) unit, is remote based yet focused on the mid to eastern portion of the US. TLC group currently has a wide range of products / solutions servicing the market; utilizing both UV, WB and SB chemistries.
The focus is "profitable growth" within our existing product range and customer base as well as developing new innovative products into the market. The Account Manager is a highly motivated "hunter" mentality individual, willing to go the extra mile to drive growth and open up new business opportunities; utilizing strong relationship building skills along with H.B.
Fuller's defined sales process.
The Account Manager position is expected to grow and retain H.B.
Fuller's market share and customer base in key market segments while achieving profit sales targets. The Account Manager is expected to: demonstrate an ability to communicate and influence at all levels; be technically competent and independently able to manage demonstrations and technical problem-solving; be focused on growth (larger opportunities), and optimizing price and profitability; be accountable for delivering results; and have the ability to train & mentor entry / new sales roles.
4 year college degree, with a technical/mechanical, marketing required.
5+ years of relevant sales experience; related industry (i.e. tapes, adhesives, printing, coatings) and B2B selling experience required.
Base location near any major city in Midwest or Eastern part of U.S.
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
Travel time depends on size/geography of the territory, but estimated overnight travel 2-3 nights per week.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
