Central Hydraulics, a Singer Industrial company is looking for an Entry-Level Sales Account Manager. We do this with a robust line of fluid power, hose & fittings, belts, seals & gaskets, pneumatic and automation products, and services.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Account Manager is responsible for sales, market penetration, and market growth. Accountable for retention, development, and customer satisfaction of existing and new accounts, in a specified territory.
Job Duties Include:
Increase sales of components, systems, and service capabilities within target accounts
Identify and develop new markets and customers
Must maintain good working relationship with Engineering, Purchasing, Management, and all aspects of the Customer
Apply sales strategies for continued growth
Maintain and Utilize Key Tools; Pipeline, Open Order Reports, Driving Logs, etc.
Recognize a need and promote products and solutions to current and new customers
Follow-up on all account activities to ensure order accuracy and timelines of completion to customer satisfactions. Apprise supervisor when involved with resolving critical customer satisfaction issues
Attend and participate in Vendor and DFP training and sales meetings
Maintaining accurate records of customer information, i.e., contacts, project files, competition, etc.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Professional work experience or Internship experience in sales, marketing and account management
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
able to discuss technically detailed processes and integrations with customers who are both tech-savvy and non-technical
Function well Independently as-well-as within the Team
Able to manage Multiple Priorities in a fast-paced environment
Passion for sales and a self-driven sense of motivation
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Basic product knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, and filtration
Previous experience as a Field Service Technician
Familiarity/knowledge or previous working experience in Fluid Power
Familiarity/ Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Fluid Power Certification
HVAC Tech School certification
