The Account Manager's primary focus is to proactively manage and support the continuance and growth of existing business for Boyd. The most successful are highly effective in understanding existing customers' buying processes and what they value, supporting those processes and values, and continuously improving ongoing relationships such that customers want to continue and increase their business with Boyd. Essential job responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain a high degree of customer loyalty.

  • Work with and support the Boyd sales team with the primary goal of making the sales team successful in acquiring new customers and increasing sales to and servicing existing customers. The ultimate goal is to make Boyd the sole supplier of all products Boyd manufactures that the customer uses.

  • Understand each customer's needs and create value with creative sales solutions that benefit both the customer and Boyd.

  • Implement Boyd's existing customer order process in a timely manner to support your customers' requirements with the goal of both delighting customers and exceeding team sales goals.

  • Create and maintain an internal plan with your New Product Manager to increase sales to all of your team's assigned customers.

  • Establish pricing that ensures margin targets are met.

  • Create and maintain great communication with both your internal and external customers and keep all concerned informed of requirements, problems, solutions/resolutions and changes.

  • Understand the internal ERP system as well as Microsoft software programs to be able to effectively and efficiently answer customers' requests.

  • Have an overall knowledge of Boyd's products and manufacturing capabilities to better service your customers.

  • Process work in a quick and efficient manner in accordance with the Aerospace response time matrix.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

  • The pay range for this position: $68k-$75k, FLSA status: exempt
