ABB is seeking a Account Manager for its Minnesota location. This role is responsible to develop, implement and manage the accounts strategy focused on growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Coordinate the sales activities and manage resolution of specific customer problems.
Senior professionals ( > 5 years of work experience)
Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Associate's Degree a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 9 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of field sales/technical experience with electrical products.
Technical knowledge of electrical interconnection systems and applications.
Experience working with relevant Codes and Standards.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
Demonstrated strong verbal/written and presentation skills to all levels in an organization.
Demonstrated strong problem solving, selling and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time.
Broad business acumen, ability to plan and execute on plans.
Ability to work extended hours on occasion when required, which might include weekends.
Ability to travel up to 3 weeks per month.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. as necessary.
