We are seeking a strong sales and business development professional to join our team. This is great opportunity for a technically oriented individual who has demonstrated sales success in the energy or power industry. This position requires a strong team player with the ability to create new opportunities for the company. The successful candidates will be "hunters" who innovative in their approach and understands that excellent service is the great differentiator. These positions report to the VP of Sales and will be responsible to secure sales of our company's services and products to clients in Energy Downstream, Midstream and Upstream markets and in the geographic locations noted above.

Essential Functions:

  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of company personnel and property

  • Learn the cathodic protection industry and our MATCOR products, services and turn-key solutions, and be able to clearly articulate key differentiators

  • Pursue business in Energy, Power and other markets where a fit exists

  • Develop territory plan for markets, clients and/or geographic regions targeted

  • Plan and prioritize sales activities and client contact to achieve agreed-upon sales goals

  • Perform with limited supervision, manage time and productivity effectively

  • Identify, develop and grow new accounts through activities such as cold/warm calling, meetings, presentations, trade shows, follow-up on marketing-generated leads, and other agreed-upon methods

  • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with company policies

  • Use Salesforce.com as CRM tool. Record account, contacts, activities, opportunities and other information to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate

  • Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (i.e., product launches, promotions, etc.)

  • Respond to and follow-up on sales inquiries and/or leads using appropriate methods

  • Identify opportunities and qualify leads

  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information

  • Communicate, coordinate and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate development of profitable business and sustainable relationships

  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development

  • Attend sales training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills

  • Participate in weekly sales coordination calls and bi-yearly sales summits

  • Achieve quarterly sales quota

Minumus Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience with a product and services-oriented deliverable

  • Engineering, construction and/or technical degree preferred

  • Prior corrosion/cathodic protection experience required

  • Familiarity with the energy and power markets

  • Ability to travel domestically 50% of the time

  • Possess the passion, desire, responsibility and commitment to succeed

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation

Give assistance to customers to solve drilling and completions problems. * Actively solicit the sale of TIW products and services * Responsible for account development and relationship management. * Responsible for account coordination of all sales activities. * Responsible defining and achieving account sales revenue forecast. * Responsible for account Customer Satisfaction and post-sale analysis and feedback sessions. * Utilize CRM and specific company sales tools to share and record information. * Acquire market intelligence, assess customer needs and evaluate quality of customer service. * Stay current on newly issued apparatus, methods, industry trends, and business drivers. * Enforce company Policies, Procedures, and Safety rules & regulations in order to maintain continuity throughout the company and with customers.
