Under general direction, responsible for achieving budgeted Professional Accounts sales within an account.. Develops programs to achieve maximum sales volume consistent with sales projections. Accounts are typically at the Company or national level and are complex in nature. Role typically requires more than 5 years of experience.

PURPOSE

Responsible for ensuring client needs are being met and understood by each department in the company. Duties include handling any client complaints, working to find solutions to issues, and maintaining the business relationship.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as the lead point of contact for all client communications.

  • Review sales contracts and agreements.

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and internal teams.

  • Communicate and collaborate with marketing, sales, and logistics to ensure the needs of the client are met.

  • Identify market potential, as well as observation and analysis of current market trends and competition.

  • Address and resolve client complaints, issues, or concerns.

  • Create a target customer strategy.

  • Monitor customer orders, and review ship dates, chargebacks, credits, and or returns.

  • Provides forecasting; makes recommendations for orders.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

  • Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate product ideas to clients.

  • Up-to-date understanding of the industry's consumer behavior

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients.

  • Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting client data

  • Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and clients at once.

  • Advanced negotiation skills to close contracts

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, including Excel.

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE

  • College degree preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in customer service or sales support.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (any specific physical attributes or limiting factors to be accounted for):

The majority of work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards; time is spent working on a computer. Walking and standing for an extended period of time is required.
