Position Summary

The Account Manager sells and promotes Life Time Fitness memberships, programs, services, and products by motivating current and prospective members to achieve their fitness goals. They establish personalized relationships with each new and existing club member. The Account Manager maintains the business plan and marketing strategies to increase membership retention, membership sales, and drive revenue from Life Time Fitness products and services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Educates members on how Life Time Fitness can help them achieve a healthier way of life

  • Achieves daily, weekly and monthly acquisition and retention goals through persistent and enthusiastic outreach

  • Customizes the buying experience by encouraging involvement with our people, programs and places to align with the unique needs, interests and goals of each prospective member

  • Collaborates daily with club leadership to ensure effective onboarding and strong retention of members

  • Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with members

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales or customer service

  • Experience in meeting and exceeding goals in a performance based culture

  • Completion of Life Time University Account Manager, Personal Training and Leadership Certification once hired

  • Ability to work a variety of work schedules

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management

VIEW JOBS 8/18/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-16T00:00 Position Overview: The Senior Accounting Manager is a member of the corporate accounting team and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting of the company's long-term investment activities and oversees the corporate general ledger, chart of accounts and other financial systems. Essential Job Functions: The position requires a hands-on, proactive and highly detail-oriented individual who is also able to supervise and manage a team. Specific activities include: * Oversee the accounting for the company's long-term corporate investments, including carried interest allocations from the general partner perspective * Review capital call and distribution entries * Review capital account balance reconciliations * Review and approve wires and wire templates * Monitor cash balances and review bank reconciliations * Perform month-end close activities, including but not limited to: * Financial statement review, reconciliations and analysis * Review and investigate account variances * Manage global fixed assets accounting * Develop and publish high quality routine and ad-hoc investment and analytics reporting for various departments * Create/redesign/enhance existing reporting framework to meet evolving needs * Establish and manage a schedule of reporting deliverables to meet various deadlines * Help manage the monthly financial close process * Manage all aspects of the general ledger and chart of accounts * Manage accounting software templates and maintain consistent processes across subsidiaries * Help lead implementation and upgrades of financial systems that facilitate efficient operation and financial management of the organization * Perform other duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate Qualifications: * Minimum of nine years of progressive accounting experience * Prior Public Accounting experience preferred (Big 4 or Large Regional) * Experience in a leadership or supervisory role required * Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred * Familiarity with investment partnership reporting preferred * Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft office programs * NetSuite experience a plus * Acute attention to accuracy and detail * Excellent verbal, written communication, and strong problem-solving skills * Ability to multi-task and manage priorities against key deadlines * Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting concepts * Adept at learning new software Stepstone La Jolla CA
