Account Managers will act as primary point of contact for Corporate Account facilities within their assigned territory. They will develop strong long-term relationships with key decision makers within their customers. Account managers will liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and to improve the entire customer experience. Identify and communicate new business opportunities within existing customers and seek sales opportunities with new customers. In addition, the Account Manager monitors competitive activity and reports findings to their direct manager.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Be primary point of contact and develop a trusted advisor relationship.
Communicate with customers, understanding their needs and explain product value.
Works closely in supporting the Corporate Accounts team with managing the ongoing relationships, customer issues and issue resolution.
60% of time spent will be focused on retention, 20% on growth selling activities and the remaining 20% spent on planning and administrative responsibilities.
Effectively uses sales tools (CRM) to manage calendar, customer appointments and document sales call results.
Reviews customer utilization and formulary with stakeholders
Documents customer activity in a timely and accurate manner, including pre-call planning process and customer follow-up.
Demonstrates base-line product understanding and ability to provide both Joerns product demonstrations and in-servicing (knows what product best fits clinical need by market segment and customer formulary).
Maintain updated knowledge of industry, company products and services
Weekly travel, visiting and meeting with current customers to uncover same store sales to expand the business within each account
Supports field-based sales activities such as customer implementations, product in-servicing, product trials and product demonstrations.
Meet assigned quotas and Account Management monthly metrics
Must be able to travel 50% or more.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Proficient with MS Office, MS Outlook and Sales Force (SFDC).
Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
Demonstrates professionalism in working with internal and external associates treating all issues and people fairly.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Education
Clinical background with additional sales background
Minimum 1 year of medical sales experience preferably in the post-acute market space
Familiar with Power BI
