Position: Account Manager

The Account Manager builds and manages the service relationship between MedTrakRx, its new and existing Clients, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and Agents, by performing the following duties personally and in collaboration with other MedTrakRx personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and manage tasks of all parties, internal and external, involved in the implementation of each Client's prescription benefit plan(s).
Build and maintain relationships with Clients, their Agents, and TPAs
Manage the status and resolution of routine to complex client and vendor requests
Implement, ensure accuracy of, and provide communication around benefit plan changes and programs
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all pharmacy benefit plan information in claims adjudication system and internal systems
Responsible for creation, completion, revision and filing of all necessary client documents
Analyze, interpret and communicate plan utilization data and make recommendations specific to each Client's prescription benefit plan and their short and long-term strategies
Develop plan performance reviews and presentations in coordination with internal staff
Represent MedTrakRx at Client and consultant meetings, open enrollment, and benefit/trade fairs
Support training and education of team members
Contribute to company and department goals and objectives
Minimum of two years account management experience or applicable MedTrakRx experience
An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses strong oral and written communication skills
A decisive individual who possesses a strong initiative to research and comprehend internal and external processes, formulate possible solutions, and follow through on the solution to completion
A skilled facilitator who is experienced in resolving conflicts among different parties
Demonstrated ability to present information to Clients, Consultants, Brokers and Third Party Administrators
Work collaboratively with peers in a team effort to promote understanding and accomplish goals
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
A well-organized and self-directed individual who can work with a minimal amount of supervision
Capability to calmly and efficiently complete tasks in an environment that presents frequent interruption
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and industry related software programs as needed to best serve internal and external clients
Willingness to travel on average 10% annually with some overnight stays
Includes a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues. Some local and overnight travel required including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions. Mode of travel would normally be by automobile, airplane, and/or public transport.
