Martindale-Nolo is looking for an Account Manager who will interact with Nolo customers and provide high-quality sales and service. Our Account Managers are responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers, partnering with them to ensure their success with our products.


  • Complete onboarding and help set the customer up for success.

  • Understand and demonstrate the applications, features, and benefits of using Martindale-Nolo.

  • Conduct online demos.

  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.

  • Identify cross-sell opportunities & customer win back opportunities.

  • Actively sell Web Hosting and other services/products to existing base of assigned team accounts.

  • Create customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective and timely resolution of inquiries.

  • Analyze data and create reports to monitor team accounts.

  • Assist with retention efforts: survey customers and determine the cause of cancellation.

  • Offer suggestions to management based on feedback from the customer regarding the product(s).

  • Act as back-up for any sales rep on assigned team.

  • Send sales collateral, proposals, contracts and additional communications to prospects.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong communications skills (over the phone and in writing).

  • Excellent organization skills.

  • Resourceful and able to problem solve.

  • Positive, self-motivated, and a team player.

  • Quick learner with a desire to grow.

  • Salesforce and online marketing/advertising knowledge (a plus).


  • Basic computer skills: Gmail, Microsoft Office suite, Windows.

  • High school diploma (2 years of higher education preferred).

  • 2 years of Sales or Telemarketing experience (phone experience preferred).

Position Summary The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for the managing and coordinating the business unit's ready-mix concrete project pricing for an established region, tracking, selling and managing the relationship with a defined group of key accounts; generally within a specific market segment. Essential Job Functions Tracking, Pricing, & Selling Ready Mix Projects greater than $50M from Business Development team handoff through concrete supplier award. Tracking, Pricing, & Selling Ready Mix Projects valued between $7-50M from design through concrete supplier award. Coordinate overall project pricing strategy for their region. Work with Quality Assurance to determine quoting strategy including products/services selection input to Inside Sales Team. Account responsibility for managing customer/sales relationship: * Top (15) infrastructure accounts * Top (30) institutional and commercial accounts * Top (10) target GC/CM & residential builders Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, material science or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two (2) years of sales experience required or an equivalent education and experience combination. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, project specifications, purchase orders, governmental regulations, or comparable publications. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, quotations, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Other Required Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office software; aptitude to become proficient with other software programs specifically CRM programs, strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to maintain confidential information Scope and Responsibility: Responsible for coordinating, tracking and selling projects.
