About the Job

The Inside Sales, Account Manager will report directly to the Inside Sales, Account Management Director. The Inside Sales, Account Manager (AM) is responsible for the execution of sales strategies that drive profitable growth in an assigned account. The AM engages proactively with the client on a consultative basis to learn its business, anticipate its needs and then propose/deliver innovative Equifax solutions. As a necessary part of the role, the AM is particularly proficient in the definition and demonstration of tangible ROI.

The AM is responsible and accountable for the relationship health and growth. Strong, positive and active relationships are keys to his/her success. The AM drives value by providing leadership and guidance to the Equifax cross-functional team as well as maintaining positive working relationships with other AM and Sales leaders. Furthermore, he/she provides critical voice of customer data back to Equifax and tracks/manages sales pipeline content diligently.

Responsibilities:

  • You will serve as the primary point of contact for Equifax's inside sales accounts by establishing, maintaining and handling key inside sales customer relationships; renewing all business

  • You will lead and drive revenue growth for small and medium-sized businesses. Understand the client's industry, business issues, and short / long range needs in order to develop and apply value-added solutions; identify business problems or needs and formulate effective, value-added solutions and alternatives to the situation.

  • You will lead Equifax inside sales efforts for targeted account areas

  • You will work seamlessly across Equifax with his/her cross-functional team in order to smoothly engage and coordinate all functional areas as required

  • You will lead negotiations, sales pipeline, pricing and customer contracts

  • You will need to have a solid understanding of how to handle and drive sales pipeline

  • You will collaborate with Equifax partners for integrated solution development

  • You will establish high level relationships; offer creative ideas that will enable the client to take advantage of all products offered by Equifax and grow existing revenue annually.

  • You will maintain client retention of existing solutions through excellent client service and support, and ensuring clients gain and recognize full value of solutions.

  • On behalf of the target account, develop business cases to support solution development that include the "voice of the customer"

  • You will work with the NPI team to build applicable solutions

  • You will represent Equifax at customer meetings or customer sponsored events

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in lieu of a degree considered

  • 5+ years business experience with time spent in account and client relationship management roles and inside sales/ to existing client base. Telesales role

  • Strong understanding of small and medium size client accounts and ability to partner and influence the agendas of multiple client partners

  • Experience demonstrating innovation (working knowledge of Equifax products in each business unit a plus)

  • Knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory/compliance requirements, including the ability to demonstrate that knowledge to actively drive sales

  • Superior skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with c-level executives via phone and webinar

  • Shown sales/solution selling experience, including the ability to diagnose the impact of trends, client data and MBOs and translate that into rapid sales

  • Experience working with senior-level employees, including an ability to immediately establish credibility with executives and build/maintain those relationships

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, demonstrated understanding of key skills across Equifax competencies

  • Ability to drive urgency in the sales cycle and the execution of solution strategies; extraordinary ability to handle a robust pipeline

  • Excellent planning, organization, multi-tasking, prioritization and meeting facilitation skills

  • Show experience in driving significant revenue growth with highly complex strategic clients

About the Job The Director of Account Management is responsible for leading a team of Account Managers whose focus is on maintaining and expanding client relationships, while protecting and growing revenue with existing Employer Services clients' portfolio. The Director of Account Management is people management role. In this leadership role, the Director of Account Management is expected to guide and support a team of Account Managers, representing the entire suite of Employer Services solutions. Account Managers will have a strategically assigned book of business based on client size, industry, etc. Responsibilities: * You will inspire employees to be and do their best through tools, coaching and high value development activities * You will remove roadblocks that impede an employees' individual success * You will focus on development planning with employees; constantly evaluate, improve and change the way an employee (or the team) does business to meet Employer Services' future goals * You will work closely with COE partners to provide voice of client, and obtain best practices, insights, and direction to provide back to the Account Management team * You will drive the account managers' client retention of existing solutions utilizing sales enablement tools, in addition to providing premier client service and support. * You will demonstrate the use of demand generation strategies that will help an account manager drive revenue growth. * You will serve as a trusted partner and advisor while maintaining productive and professional relationships with client contacts * You will ensure that each individual account manager meets the assigned measurements of success for various growth and strategic MBOs * You will dedicatedly assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, and provides thought around enhanced solutions and partnership * You will successfully guide account managers through timely contract negotiations, contract renewals and RFP responses for existing services using the Negotiating with Backbone processes * Engage and lead critical care efforts in situations where Employer Services is at risk of losing a client and/or incurring brand and reputation damages * Proven successful track record in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals and client retention goals through delivery of services/products that make valuable contributions and profit. * You will have the ability to effectively work with and influence all levels in an organization * You will need the ability to demonstrate knowledge of industry, customer and vertical opportunities to enhance Equifax's win rate * Ability to prioritize multiple projects and function independently from supervision to meet deadlines Requirement * 5-7 years of previous experience in a service industry with focus on cross functional team approach * 5+ years of previous experience in sales and account management leadership * Ability to prioritize opportunities and execute an enterprise account plan accordingly with dependability and ownership * A thorough understanding of C-level client executive working challenges and relationship strategies a plus * Extraordinary critical thinking skills with the ability to work within a matrix structure and in cross functional teams * Exemplary communication skills (verbal, written and client facing presentation) * Full PC literacy including the customer relationship management system (CRM) and MS office * Travel – up to 10% of the time What Else We offer an excellent compensation package with, high-reaching market salaries.
