As a Account Manager, you will continue HALO's growth by targeting, prequalifying, selling, and developing relationships with medium-sized and large-ordering prospects and customers. Using telephone contact and team selling, Account Manager effectively manage a market-specific territory to meet assigned sales goals for core products and develop in-depth product and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds annual goal for sales of Channing Bete Company and other objectives as may be assigned

  • Works jointly with colleagues to service the Company's existing customers and expand the Company's business in assigned regional areas and/or markets

  • Uses available sales analysis to execute effective sales strategies and acquire new sources of revenue

  • Demonstrates independent and collaborative contributions to the growth of sales in assigned territory and/or markets.

  • Makes a predetermined number of high-quality telephone presentations tailored to prospects and customers from provided contact lists to achieve monthly and annual goals

  • Modifies call allocation or selling strategies to respond to marketplace shifts, new funding, or emerging needs

  • Documents meaningful call notes in customer relationship management software

  • Retains existing business among all prior customers, identifies, contacts, and influences key decision-makers and seeks referrals

  • Proactively introduces new products/services and understands existing product line, pricing, policies, internal operating protocol, and the needs of customers/prospects

  • Works with Account Managers, supervisory/management staff, and other colleagues to assist with Territory transitions and provide territory coverage when needed

  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of Telemarketing and/or Account Management experience

  • Have a strong interest or background in Human Services, Healthcare, or Public Health and Safety industries

  • Proficiency with Window-based Microsoft computer applications

  • Must possess the desire and ability to contribute to an entrepreneurial, team-oriented work group

  • Have strong phone sales skills, effective negotiation tactics, be articulate, a good listener, and a strong communicator (written and oral)

  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and taking initiative to "figure things out"

  • Able to organize, scope and manage project plans; adaptable to changing priorities and ability to work effectively within short deadlines

Compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to HALO at the time of the posting and does not include any potential benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The estimated base salary range for this position is between $30,000 - 45,000 USD.
