The team:

Genetec is currently looking for a Technical Accounts Manager NYC working remotely. The Account Manager (AM) will be responsible to develop the strategy to grow the existing Genetec major end users as well as identify new high potential end user in New York City and New Jersey areas of the United States.

What your day will look like:

  • Develop relationships with existing and prospective end-user clients and be the voice of Genetec within these accounts
  • Understand the end-user business, its various stakeholders as well as their budgeting and purchase decision making processes
  • Work with the product marketing group to ensure that requirements are understood, considered and part of the new product planning process
  • Promote and sell new services and products within the accounts
  • Become proficient in positioning the capabilities of Genetec products relative to high potential end user needs
  • Provide product demonstrations to help end user prospects understand how Genetec products will meet their needs
  • Uncover customer needs, respond to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFQs), prepare quotes and write proposals
  • Keep sales and management up to date on account activity, trends and sales leads
  • Cooperate with the Regional Sales Managers to develop account strategies, coverage and follow-up
  • Coordinate end user training as needed
  • Manage forecasts and achieve quotas
  • Monitor and report satisfaction levels
  • Update and maintain data in CRM or other applications
  • Acquire, maintain and report adequate knowledge of product, market and competition

About you:

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business, MBA would be an asset
  • High-technology sales experience, preferably in dealing with large accounts
  • Ability to work in a complex sales environment at all levels
  • Ability to influence and leverage company management and key contributors to attain goals
  • Understanding of large-company business practices
  • Ability to influence multiple decision makers in committee decision situations
  • Excellent communicator in writing or face-to-face
  • IP/IT technology and network infrastructure and cloud experience
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships customers
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate with customers at the C-Suite level
  • Able to work independently in a fast-pace environment, with the ability to make decisions in an efficient manner
  • Team player
  • Strong technical understanding of networks and security industry as well as in access control
  • Proven sales achievement/track record

Your team will include thoughtful, problem-solving individuals who are passionate about growing the SXM Media brands.</p><p>What you'll do:</p><ul><li><p>Develop and cultivate positive business relationships with clients and sales, creative design team, sales research, and technical teams</p></li><li><p>Partner with sales team to develop ideas and materials for Proposals/Avail submissions including media recommendations, research, competitive data, and advise on what is technically feasible to execute</p></li><li><p>Be a product expert, know your client and the right SXM Media products that will meet their marketing needs and drive positive results</p></li><li><p>Ensure Pandora revenue goals consistently inform all facets of account management; design and execute media plans and campaigns; work directly with client on all pre-launch elements related to creative specifications and submission</p></li><li><p>Create and manage creative and technical production timelines, with Advertisers/Agencies, and asset delivery to ensure campaigns launch in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Work with internal traffickers, creative design, and client as needed to troubleshoot any ad creative issues that impact tracking, implementation, or reporting</p></li><li><p>Be the frontline on all booked revenue to monitor campaign delivery and pacing; escalate issues when applicable</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with billing team to resolve monthly invoicing queries</p></li><li><p>Provide necessary campaign deliverables including but not limited to: reporting, screenshots, and ad-hoc requests</p></li><li><p>Delegate work as necessary to internal resources</p></li></ul><p>What you'll need:</p><ul><li><p>1+ year experience in digital/radio/mobile advertising operations or account management</p></li><li><p>Extremely proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple and varied tasks and campaigns in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Excellent client service and verbal and written communication skills; results driven with strong analytical skills</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of pre-sale process and creation of media plans; experience with custom display, mobile, audio, and video advertising products</p></li><li><p>Experience in working within internal order management systems and third-party systems including ad servers</p></li><li><p>Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge across the department</p></li><li><p>Areas of experience that are preferred but not essential include: knowledge of programmatic transactions; performance campaign management handling conversion data and related ad technology.</p></li><li><p>Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)</p></li><li><p>Must have legal right to work in the U.S.</p></li></ul><p>Our goal at SiriusXM is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters mutual respect, professionalism and cooperation.
