The ADI Sales team is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager to provide support to our Broad Market accounts in North America. As part of our dynamic sales team, you will work to develop a winning strategy that will grow design wins, customer relationships, & long-term profitable revenue growth. This position will have high visibility within all departments of ADI and requires account ownership, self-drive & accountability. You will be joining a team of seasoned sales professionals that will offer mentorship, coaching & guidance while integrating into the position.

As an Account Manager, you will work in in conjunction with Field Applications Engineers (FAE) and Business Unit (BU) factory specialists to support customers across all major industries (industrial, aerospace & defense, digital healthcare, communications & more) by understanding and solving customers' most challenging application-level problems that span a broad range of technologies including, but not limited to, data conversion, sensing, interface, communication, signal processing & security. You will drive territory revenue growth by building strong customer relationships and maximizing ADI content on new customer designs.

In addition, skills you will develop include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and ADI's product line management, marketing, and engineering teams

  • Educating customers about ADI's products, services, and system solutions through technical presentations, demonstrations & trainings

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Aggressively pursue new contacts & influential relationships within assigned accounts that maximize ADI opportunity through early access, unique competitive insights, & Executive alignment

  • Accurately communicate customer needs and required actions within ADI

  • Own, manage, & drive all levels of customer follow-up and support

  • Understanding customer technologies, business challenges, and how to leverage ADI solutions to solve those customer challenges

  • Evaluate and qualify new accounts, prioritize in descending order, manage use of ADI resources

  • Building strong relationships externally with customers AND internally with key stakeholders

  • Helping customers navigate their supply chain and pricing challenges, lead strategic negotiations

  • Drive engagements between ADI and customer Executives

  • Demonstrate annual revenue growth by identifying, cultivating and closing Design In opportunities

Minimum qualifications

  • BSEE or equivalent technical degree, analog and mixed-signal semiconductor expertise preferred

  • Strong interpersonal & organizational skills

  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Personal motivation, positive attitude

  • Naturally comfortable around people

  • Natural curiosity about the semiconductor industry and impact on society, continuous learning mindset

  • Basic understanding of embedded systems through undergraduate courses

  • Ability to travel (within territory) with some overnight stays

Preferred qualifications

  • History of customer-facing roles/internships is beneficial

  • Prior internship in Engineering, Product Marketing or Sales

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce

  • Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State

  • Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position - except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) - may have to go through an export licensing review process.
