The Account Managers primary responsibility is to address customer inquiries/requests, and resolve complex delinquent accounts in order to achieve department objectives. The Account Manager minimizes losses to the company and accurately document accounts in accordance with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act [FDCPA], state and federal regulatory guidelines, and company policies and procedures. The Account Manager is also responsible for collections activities.


  • Two years of successful residential loan origination experience. Sub-prime lending experience is a plus but not required.

  • Mortgage servicing/loss mitigation experience a plus but not required.

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues/exceptions and interpret/analyze data under limited supervision

  • College or university degree preferred, but some college is required.

Qualifications Required:

  • Strong internal and external customer service skills, including professional telephone manner and ability to write short business correspondence

  • Track record of building relationships with customers

  • Proven ability to adapt to a changing environment

  • Detail oriented with the ability to accurately gather, maintain and analyze data.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to take direction while maintaining self-management /self-motivating skills.

  • Ability to acclimate to an ever changing/fast paced environment

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficient computer and keyboard aptitude; familiarity with basic Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
