About The Role Essity Professional Hygiene North America team is currently searching for an experienced Account Manager
Sysco. The Account Manager is responsible for the strategic implementation of the marketing, sales, e-commerce and program strategies, working in close collaboration with Sysco Sales Manager, Customer Marketing and Commercial Excellence Teams to drive strategic plans into clear action plans, aligned to our HoReCa strategy, to ensure that agreed sales growth, retention, and profitability targets are achieved.
The Account Manager is responsible for leading and following up related sales activities with the Sysco Market, Regions and sites and respective brokers. The Account Manager is also responsible for the management of our Sysco broker network, ensuring they understand and implement our Sysco go-to-market strategy and corresponding sales growth expectations. The Sysco Account Manager will develop top to top relationships with their respective Sysco Market, Regions and Sites.
The ideal candidate will live in the Midwest Region near a major US international airport within the aligned Essity Regional structure and the ability to travel 60% of the time. If this is you, we'd love to talk. What You Will Do Builds, maintains, develop, and grow strong relationships and business with the Sysco Market teams and local/region broker teams. Leads the implementation, and goal achievement of agreed sales plan with the Sysco Market & Region Leadership, and broker partners.
Builds and develops strong relationships with broker partners, ensuring accountability to sales activities, tracking and goal attainment in line with overall Sysco plan. Secure that brokers drive product mix, hygiene solutions, strategic product mix, which contributes to profitability, profitable growth, retention/churn according to agreed goals and budgets. Drive sales activities and launch plans within their respective region on sales forecast, business reviews and financial forecasts.
Builds and develops strong relationship, understanding and collaboration within teams such as Marketing, Product, Logistics, E-Commerce, Revenue, Controlling, etc. Works in close alignment with the National Sales Manager
Foodservice Distribution Sysco relative to the overall HoReCa strategy implementation, opportunities, and launch plans to ensure targets are met regarding Sysco overall satisfaction and retention, profit and profitable growth. Collaborates with other foodservice Account Managers to drive HoReCa roadmaps.
Collaborates with Account Managers HoReCa/CHIP to drive segment growth within their respective region. Is positioning Tork as the partner of choice and preferred brand with Sysco. Actively develop own competence that correlates to the organization's capability demands.
Such as knowledge and skill in/of Business systems, sales and sales technique/analytics/leadership/customer/organizational/products & hygiene solutions/administrational competence. Who You Are Bachelor's degree Business, Sales or Marketing. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience; 2-3 years of account management, previous broker management & Foodservice broadline distribution experience preferred. Must have having leading technical capabilities to work in a blended selling role and strong CRM experience; with technical competencies such as Omni-channel, trends in eCommerce, and digital sales. Ability to work virtually with customers and internal teams.
Experience using MS Office, MS Teams and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Proficient in presenting virtual presentations via online platforms such as Microsoft Teams. Experience working CRM systems (i.e.
Microsoft Dynamics) preferred. Demonstrated capability to understand growth strategies and translate those into practical sales plans and best practices. Strong negotiation, persuasive and influencing skills: is able to independently negotiate with top customers within area of responsibility.
Well-structured and strong planning skills, able to tailor make offers for customers and provide added value and insight for customers. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships on all levels. Ability to set goals and have the drive to achieve them, both personally and for broker reps.
Strong drive for results and sense of urgency, self-starter, and strong work ethic. Confidence in own ability to succeed and possess a winning attitude. Ability to travel 50-60% domestically within the region.
